Week 2 Recap: Fantasy Highs & Lows

Week 2 delivered some big fantasy performances and surprising disappointments.

On the high side, one of the breakout stars was a young wide receiver who exploded for over 35 PPR points, thanks to a long fourth-quarter touchdown and several key receptions. That type of performance not only helped his team win but also vaulted him into serious fantasy radar status.

Another standout was a rookie running back who saw increased workload and made the most of it — producing solid yardage and contributing in the passing game. Teams and fantasy managers alike will be watching how his role evolves.

On the downside, a couple of established players failed to live up to expectations. A veteran tight end struggled to get separation or targets, and a star receiver who was expected to dominate got bottled up by a strong secondary. Also, there were injury concerns that may affect consistency going forward — for example, a starting quarterback looked off, possibly due to lingering soreness, and will be someone to monitor.
