Quarterback Rankings & Tiers — Elite vs. Streamers

Quarterback is the most stable position in fantasy football, but how you draft it can drastically change your roster construction. Instead of focusing on overall rank, grouping QBs into tiers is the best way to find value.

Elite Tier (Top 5): Lamar Jackson, Josh Allen, Jayden Daniels, Jalen Hurts, and Joe Burrow. These players combine rushing floors with consistent passing volume. Owning one of them means you rarely worry about streaming or matchups.

Every-Week Starters (QB6–QB12): Quarterbacks like Trevor Lawrence or C.J. Stroud don’t quite have the rushing upside of the elite tier but are dependable weekly options. If you miss the top five, this group offers security without overpaying.

Streaming Tier: Beyond the top 12, you’ll find QBs who can be played based on matchups—think late-round dart throws or waiver-wire options. Pairing two of these can work if you play the schedule right.

Strategy tip: Don’t force a QB pick too early. If you can’t grab an elite option, focus on mid-tier value and build strength at RB/WR instead. The depth at QB makes it one of the most flexible positions in fantasy.
